Love peaches, but thought you’d have to travel to Georgia to pick them? You’re in luck! We have our very own peach orchard where you can hand-pick these sweet, sun-ripened fruits right here in Wisconsin!

Here's What We're Picking This Week:

Early Star Peach

Early stars have bright red blush over a golden-yellow background. They’re medium to large in size and round in shape, with smooth, velvety skin. Early Stars are juicy, fragrant, and full of old-fashioned peach flavor. Excellent for fresh snacking, fruit salads, topping yogurt or cereal, baking, crisps, cobblers, and grilled

Early Red Haven Peach

This variety is an early form of the classic Red Haven peach. The fruit has a golden-yellow background with a bright red blush and firm, yellow flesh. Though technically a clingstone when picked early, it tends to loosen as it ripens. Perfect for snacking, baking, canning, or tossing into your morning yogurt.

Rising Star Peach

Rising Star peaches ripen early in the season and are known for their beautiful color, firm flesh, and classic peach flavor. Developed in Michigan as part of the Stellar series of cold-hardy peaches, Rising Star was bred to withstand late frosts while delivering juicy, medium-to-large freestone fruit. Its yellow flesh is sweet with just a touch of acidity, making it ideal for fresh eating, baking, and canning.

Pristine Apple

This sweet-tart apple was intentionally created in the early 20th century, in Illinois, as a summer variety that farmers could grow and sell before the maincrop season arrived. Pristine apples are round to oblate in shape and have a somewhat uniform appearance with light ribbing. They are a perfect apple for baking and cooking.

Lodi Apple

Surprise! We have one of our two green apple varieties ready to be picked. Lodi apples are very tart, making them perfect for pies, crumbles, applesauce, or for a puckery kick in a salad!

How to Pick the Perfect Peach

Picking the perfect peach is quite simple! Follow these easy steps to ensure you bring home the best of the best:

Choose peaches that are firm but give slightly when gently pressed and have a warm, sweet aroma.
Avoid any with green coloring, nicks, or bruises.
To pick, lift the peach upward and pull gently—if it resists, it’s not fully ripe yet.
Handle carefully, as some varieties bruise easily.
