Dear Bonita Bay Residents,
Due to increasing safety concerns and ongoing deterioration of the pickleball courts at Riverwalk Park, the BBCA has decided to close the pickleball courts on Thursday, May 1, before construction begins in early August. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late November, allowing sufficient time for the new concrete slab to fully cure before the courts reopen.
To provide an alternative during the closure, the BBCA has partnered with Sports Challenge America to offer residents offsite access to pickleball courts, with the schedules shown below. (Court numbers to be determined by Sports Challenge America.)
Effective May 1 - October 15
Pickleball Club Play
Monday and Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Open Pickleball Play for all Residents
Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Effective October 16 - December 31
Pickleball Club Play
Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Open Pickleball Play for all Residents
Monday and Tuesday: 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.
Wednesday and Thursday: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Residents will be required to fill out a waiver at the front desk before playing at the facility. The waiver is valid for one year. The Sports Challenge America address is: 28120 Race Track Rd., Bonita Springs, FL 34135.
