Pickleball at the Crystal Community Center

Indoor pickleball season is well underway! We hope you can join us. If you or someone you know is new to the game check out the Intro to pickleball (Beginner) lessons. This is a great way to get introduced to the game and learn the basics of play. As a reminder we provide the nets and balls and have a limited amount of paddles for open play.

Reminder, on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month Skills and Drills will run from 8:15 - 9:30 a.m. Open play will begin at 9:30 a.m. on those days. You are welcome to attend Skills and Drills then stay for Open Play.

Here is some helpful information about what to expect and etiquette when playing at Crystal Community Center Open Pickleball:

SPIRIT OF PLAY:

Be Respectful & Inclusive.
Upper level players should be available to "play a game" with lower skilled players.
When unsure on a call, benefit of the doubt goes to your opponent.

RULES:

No outdoor shoes.
Sign in & pay at the cart.
Please space out and keep socially distanced from others.

Court Rotation:

Courts are first come first serve.
Play one game to 11 (win by 2) then rotate off the court.
Waiting players place their paddles in the boxes.
All groups must rotate.
A group with 4 players cannot skip in front of a partially filled group in front of them.
A foursome can only stay together for 3 games max then must mix in with other players.
