View parish hall design on Sunday

You're invited to "come and see" the conceptual ideas for our new parish hall at the Ministry Fair this Sunday. Frederick + Frederick has developed a design based on information gathered from the congregation and articulated by the vestry: A welcoming design that invites all to “come and see” how we care for one another in mind, body and spirit; our support of the wider community and our stewardship of God’s creation. No timeline has been established to implement this project but come dream with us!

Scam alert--again!

People have reported receiving email requests for gift cards purportedly from Rev. Pam. Don't fall for the scam. Check the email address of the sender and you'll find that it's not from St. Mark's. We will never ask for contributions this way. If you're in doubt about the validity of the email, contact the office.

A big thank you from moms

Wondering where the Mother's Day roses came from last Sunday? They were supplied by Kevin de l'Aigle and Brian Mallory. What a nice surprise! Thanks, guys!

Stewardship: Christian Formation

By Meg Catizone

My husband and I are currently watching the series The Chosen. I’m mesmerized considering how Jesus went about his daily routine and earthly existence while maintaining his humble divinity. I love seeing my imagined interactions between Jesus and the Apostles come to life on the screen. To his followers Jesus is “Rabbi” or ”Teacher.” The Apostles are students in training until Jesus senses that they are ready to become teachers and spread the Word. Acting on faith, the Apostles are stunned to discover that they can carry out Jesus’s wishes. Thus, we see the very beginning of Christian Formation. (Click HERE to continue reading)

We ask your prayers for Mary Bryan, Connie Skok, Judy Parichy, Bonnie Connolly, Molly Wolford, Amy Christian, Linda Jones, Tom Tull, Carolyn and Jim Chapman, Jim and Sandy Click, Tim and Mary, Susie Kearney, Chrissy Miller, Tony and Paula Settles, Patrick Numier, Sarah Nutting, William Bertinelli, Lisa Westbrook, and the St. Mark’s Search Committee: Beth Campbell, Shannon Duffy, Liz Esch, Scott Peters, Woody Rutter, Sallie Stone and Jim Turk.
