Picnic in the Park is Back

& Bigger Than Ever!

We are thrilled to announce that the Glenora Community League's beloved Picnic in the Park is returning on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, from 3PM to 7PM!

Join your neighbours for an afternoon of food trucks, live music, games, and a bouncy castle. Whether you're bringing the whole family or coming solo, there's something for everyone.

🎾 New This Year: Tennis & Pickleball Tournaments + Lessons!

We're excited to welcome YEG Pickleball to this year's event, who will be hosting beginner-friendly pickleball lessons. Pickleball & tennis tournaments will also be part of the day's action. Whether you're a seasoned player or have never picked up a paddle, come out and give it a try! See below for more details.

🏗️ Help Us Build the Future of Glenora

This year's Picnic in the Park will also feature a community fundraiser in support of our Building Redevelopment Project. We have big goals for this space and we need your help to get there. Every dollar raised goes directly toward creating a facility our community can enjoy for generations to come. Learn more about the redevelopment and what we're working toward here.

📅 Save the Date & Register

We'd love to see as many familiar and new faces as possible. Please save the date, spread the word, and register for the tournaments & lessons on Communal to join us.

A Huge Thank You to Our Sponsors!

Events like this don't happen without incredible community support. A very special thank you to Michael Pavone and his team at Michael Pavone Realty Group for going above and beyond to coordinate so many wonderful sponsors this year. Their ongoing dedication to this community makes all the difference and we are so grateful.

Our community is only as strong as the people in it. Let's come together, have some fun, and build something great, one picnic at a time. 🧺

Huong Nguyen

Huong Nguyen is a Canadian artist based in Edmonton, Alberta, known for her captivating watercolor creations that bridge the gap between urban landscapes and the serene beauty of the Canadian nature scenery.

My art is about connecting with the land, both the natural and developed landscapes. We do not always have the pleasure of stopping to smell the roses. My art takes you places. Places that connect us with the past and places we have yet been. I draw much inspiration from my surrounding, where I live, where I work, where I take my dog for walks. I have been lucky to visit as many places as I have around Canada, from coast to coast. I have been to many places that you have been. My art takes you there.
