Join your fellow parishioners in coming back to mass, to worship at the Lord’s table, to receive Him in the Eucharist to fuel your faith. Catholic Churches have successfully developed effective safety protocols. THANK YOU to all the ministers and volunteers who make this possible for SJV!
Pease join us at one of the following Masses:
Saturday at 5:00pm
Sunday at 9:00am
Sunday at 11:00am
Some changes you'll see at Mass to protect ourselves, to protect our neighbors, and to protect the ability FOR ALL to safely worship together - face masks required, no singing, and no Blood of Christ. Clearly marked sections for worship are available for people seeking physical distancing.
The Archdiocese COVID Guidelines ask that even during these colder Winter months, we continue to keep our doors and windows open to ensure proper ventilation. We encourage you to come to Mass with coats on!
Please self-screen and stay home if you are not feeling well. Sick, vulnerable, at-risk, and otherwise concerned persons are encouraged to celebrate Mass with us via live stream.

It was so nice to see all the spaces in the church bustling again this past weekend - young adults playing games in the rectory, youth preparing for confirmation and attending youth group in the social hall, Knights of Columbus cooking in the kitchen, children training for Super Bowl Sundae downstairs, and babies getting baptized in the church - all ages gathering to worship, to grow in faith, and to grow in community. As we continue to gather, let us build each other up in hope, that even through this pandemic that we are learning to live with, we can be the lights to each other that everyone needs.
A big thank you to all who supported the Knights of Columbus' delicious Chili Feast Fundraiser!

Letters acknowledging your contributions for federal income tax purposes have been mailed out. Please contact the parish office if you are expecting a letter and did not receive yours. Many income tax letters we sent out have come back to us. Unfortunately, letters that come back to us cost the church money. If you have moved, or your address needs to be in a specific format to guarantee you receive mailings, please email the parish office with your updated address. Additionally, if you contribute through Electronic Funds Transfer and your credit card has been lost, stolen, or has expired please update your information with the parish office. Our sincere appreciation for your continued donations that support us in fulfilling our mission.

STEWARDSHIP OF TREASURE PLANNING GUIDE
|
|
When it comes to stewardship of treasure, it helps for us to think about the foundation of stewardship: all we are and have come from God, which we are asked to use responsibly.
On our website's Donate page you will find a Stewardship of Treasure Planning Guide to help you plan your yearly giving. Begin the process of planning your wise use of money by praying; asking the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts and actions. Most of us do not make an annual budget for our personal or family use of money, but there is no better way to capture a view of how you currently use money and how you plan to do so in the future. Planning to use our financial and material resources as a good steward helps us look at daily expenses through the eyes of our relationship with God, and gain a wider view into the needs of others. May we find joy in giving, as gratitude for the blessings we have been given!

Displaced Afghan family living on Finn Hill needs our help. Evacuated by the US Military, this multi-family group, including 6 young infants and children, one of whom is experiencing a serious medical condition, has been sponsored by World Relief to settle here in Kirkland. As World Relief's assistance winds down, a team of volunteers is urgently needed and will be trained to help the family with their next steps, including frequent check-ins, and navigating such challenges as limited English, medical appointments, transportation, cultural issues and school enrollment. If you feel called to be one of these volunteers, please contact Susan, sweaver@sjvkirkland.org, as soon as possible for more information.
