Just a few reminders as we continue a great school year!

The first bell rings at 7:45 a.m.
The back doors will be closed at 7:46 a.m.
Instruction time begins at 7:50 a.m.
At this time, students
will have to be checked in at the front office.
7:50 - 2:50 p.m.

Just a reminder that students need to be dropped off by or before 7:45 a.m. in order to not miss any instructional time, which begins at 7:50 a.m.

The bus loop is designated for buses only.

Enter at the far west entrance and drive to the back of the building
for drop off and pick up. When entering our carline, the traffic will use both lanes as one-way. Then, cars will merge for dropping students off at the back doors.
Once you have picked-up and dropped-off, you will exit out
the east entrance using the both lanes as one-way.

If you need to enter the building, please pull around to park in the parking lot. When entering our carline, the traffic will use both lanes as one-way. Then, cars will merge for dropping students off at the back doors.

Our car line is one-way between 7:20 - 7:50 a.m.

Contact the front office (373-5155) before 1:30 p.m. to allow adequate time to notify your child of a transportation change. Do not leave a message, as this may not guarantee the change being made.

The expectation is that electronic devices such as cellphones, iPads, iPods, etc. be turned off between 7:50 a.m. - 2:50 p.m.
Electronic devices are allowed at recess.
Electronic devices must be turned off during lunch in the cafeteria.

Piedmont Intermediate encourages students
to exhibit responsibility and diligence in completing all assignments.
If a student didn't complete an assignment during class time, and it is homework. They are expected to complete the assignment at home.
If a child doesn't complete his/her homework, they will be assigned "ZAP" and/or "Academic Enhancement." ZAP will take place during lunch/recess time. Academic Enhancement will take place before school from 7:00 - 7:40 a.m. in the library and after school until 3:40 p.m.
These opportunities are given to students who have
late/missing assignments or need tutoring.

Piedmont Intermediate encourages students to be kind, respectful, and conscientious. Therefore, if a student isn't following expectations, they will be addressed by the teacher and/or administrators. If they are assigned a teacher's lunch detention, they are expected to attend; otherwise, it becomes an office referral. If a child has repeated lunch detentions, it will be an office referral. Office referrals can result in lunch detentions, before/after school detentions, in-school suspensions, or out-of-school suspensions.

Students will have 20 minutes of recess and 20 minutes of lunch. Students will not be dismissed for lunch until they have completed eating. Lunch and recess groups will be determined by 5th period classes. One group will eat first while the other group is at recess. The next week, the two groups switch.

5th Grade Lunch 12:25 - 1:00
