Starting this week, LPEA will begin conducting upgrades to the electrical infrastructure in your area. The underground cable in Piedra Estates is more than 40 years old and has a history of high maintenance costs, faults, and extended outages.
To increase the reliability of our service to you, LPEA will replace 13,240 feet of underground cable serving Piedra Estates. We estimate the project will take several months to complete.
To allow crews to work safely, we have switched line settings. This means that small things - like branches, animals, or wind - may cause more outages than normal during this time. If we know we have to temporarily disconnect your power at any time, we will notify you in advance.
