Mortgage rates are currently hovering around 6.5% and the key question is whether this drop will be enough to boost buyer demand now or if we’ll see that significant movement in the market by 2025. Despite the little dip in rates, demand hasn’t picked up YET but the excitement is palpable from buyers waiting in the wings.

As we head into cooler weather (yes, it’s still August but the skies are getting a lot grayer), buyers might need a stronger incentive to act, which significantly lower rates could provide. On the flip side, as the market becomes more attractive, your competition will increases and the potential for negotiation dwindles.
