Summer holiday fun!
This month we look at how Pilates can be fun for children, help to build confidence and prepare for sports and activities. Our offer is for a discount for you and a family member if you come to Pilates together (the family member does not have to be a child!) and we recap on our quadrathlon success.
Quadrathlon - Well Done!

Congratulations to the team of 7 Pilates Plus instructors who completed the Kindrochit quadrathlon on 11th July - here they are cutting the ceremonial watermelon at the finish line!

To mark   international youth day on 12th August, this month we look at how Pilates can be fun and great for injury prevention for young people.

New Physio

This month we welcome Kirsty Rennie into the clinic. Kirsty has been teaching our evening and postnatal classes since 2011 and enjoys the challenge of rehabilitation at all levels, personalising treatment to the individual.

Challenge of the Month - Aeroplane!
A great exercise which we often include in our classes for children. Stand on one leg, keeping the centre engaged tip the body forward lifting the other leg behind you. Reach the arms forwards or out to the side. Make a zoomy aeroplane noise (very important)! Hold for a breath and return to upright. Repeat 8-10 times on each side. Challenge yourself to repeat this every day for a month and feel how your balance improves. If this feels too challenging to start with, only tilt forwards half way initially.
