Pile Driving Activity at Mallory Street Bridge
Beginning as early as Thursday, February 17 adjacent to Mallory Street Bridge
HAMPTON - Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel Expansion Project (HRBT) pile driving activity will take place adjacent to I-64 east at the Mallory Street Bridge overpass.

Residents living and working near the HRBT Expansion Project limits at Mallory Street Bridge may experience some effects from these construction activities. There will be no impact to motorists traveling on Mallory Street Bridge or I-64 under the bridge.
 
What: Pile driving activity to install the foundations of the southside structure of the new Mallory Street Bridge.
 
When: Daily, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., beginning as early as Thursday, February 17, 2022.
 
Where: I-64 east at Mallory Street Bridge. 
All construction schedules are pending weather or unforeseen circumstances. Please check the project website's Traffic Alerts page for updates.

Motorists should expect delays or take alternate routes. As always, motorists are encouraged to slow down, eliminate distractions and pay careful attention while driving through the construction zone.
