Couch Conference

Welcome to our first installment of "Couch Conference" (thank you to Maisie Martin and Stephanie Smith for the great name). We are hoping this will be a fun and creative way to show you what is happening at Pilgrim through the eyes of the ones who know best...the students!!

This week's episode will highlight a few of the things that teachers learned at our conference last week and would like to implement in their classrooms. We had a great time of learning in Seaside and we are only highlighting a few of the many topics that we learned about. We are always grateful for this time of learning and sharing resources with our colleagues around the Northwest District.

I have already been asked when next year's conference is. It is scheduled for October 7-9. We don't yet know if the whole week will be no school, but will try to get that schedule out as soon as possible. We know that many of you enjoy planning vacations during this time.

Most of you had the opportunity to meet with your student's teacher(s) during this week. Moving conferences earlier in the trimester was meant to assist with addressing any learning challenges before the report card. We are hopeful that this was beneficial for you and your students.

So click the link below and enjoy our first installment of "Couch Conference" and then come back and read on for all the happenings around Pilgrim.
