Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
You and I find ourselves in a time when the Lord is shaking all that can be shaken (Hebrews 12:26-29), and in particular when we are praying, and then praying some more, for Israel. God is in charge; He has all authority (Matthew 28:18). We pray for the salvation of the nation of Israel, for the release of hostages, for the elimination of the Hamas terror group and the demonic spirit behind it, and the salvation of souls on all sides.
In this shaking, it's a blessing to recall the faith, the perseverance, the extraordinary courage of the Pilgrims. In contrast to those today who don't yet know to hallow Almighty God, who worship only football and food this Thanksgiving, the Pilgrim's celebration of Thanksgiving in 1621, with the First Nation peoples who helped them, showed a sincere, humble, deep reverence for the Lord God Almighty Who had saved them. They were forever thankful and gave Him all the glory.
Here is an excerpt from my book, "Nation Imploding:God's Solution:"
In November, 1620 the Pilgrims arrived in today's Plymouth, Massachusetts, having left the oppression of England's king, and the official church, to seek a place to worship freely and plant the gospel in the New World. To achieve their spiritual goals, even before the Mayflower sailed from England, the Pilgrims set aside a day of solemn humiliation.
There is a close parallel between the Pilgrims’ embarking on their journey to the New World, and Ezra’s company of exiles in Babylon returning to Jerusalem to help in the restoration of the temple. The Pilgrim's pastor, John Robinson, read from Ezra 8:21: “And there at the river, by Ahava, I proclaimed a fast, that we might humble ourselves before our God, and seek of him a right way for us, and for our children, and for all our substance.”
Having experienced persecution from unbiblical denominations in Europe, the Pilgrims sought a new land to worship Jesus Christ and the Bible. In contrast to the apostasy and antichristian darkness they saw in the established church, they believed God wished them to restore the church to its “ancient purity.” They sought to live out the simplicity of the Gospel, ruled by laws based on God’s Word only, returning to the original condition of believers in Christ as portrayed in the New Testament. They were on a pilgrimage for the Truth to be found solely on His Holy Word.
Arriving in the wilderness for the “glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith” they wished the Liberty of Jesus Christ to walk with God in a Christian life, free of threat from the government, honoring the Bible as the Way of life. In an age of absolute monarchy, they propounded representative government, making a covenant among themselves in the Mayflower Compact, which they signed, before landing:
IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN. We, whose names are underwritten, the Loyal Subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord King James, by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, &c. Having undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith, and the Honour of our King and Country, a Voyage to plant the first Colony in the northern Parts of Virginia; Do by these Presents, solemnly and mutually, in the Presence of God and one another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil Body Politick, for our better Ordering and Preservation, and Furtherance of the Ends aforesaid: And by Virtue hereof do enact, constitute, and frame, such just and equal Laws, Ordinances, Acts, Constitutions, and Officers, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general Good of the Colony; unto which we promise all due Submission and Obedience.
Their Godly leader for more than 30 years was William Bradford. He gives us a record of the colony in his classic work, Of Plymouth Plantation. God's Providence to the colony included, once they had landed, His providing as an interpreter, Massasoit, a member of the local Wampanoag people. Years before, Massasoit had been captured as a slave, had been sent to England, and thus spoke English! The Wampanoags assisted the Pilgrims to provide food; and the first Thanksgiving to God reflects a Godly fellowship which persisted for decades.
The Pilgrims understood the power of setting aside a solemn day of humiliation and prayer when disaster later threatened in the summer of 1623. A great drought and intense heat from May to July had scorched the cornfields. Their critical food supply, corn, began to wither away. In response, they "set apart a solemn day of humiliation to seek the Lord by humble and fervent prayer." The Lord honored that humble submission to Him. Later that hot day at the end of the afternoon the Lord provided gentle showers. Tears followed as the Pilgrims and the Native Americans rejoiced!
The Governor of the colony, William Bradford, later wrote that ordinarily the rain would have fallen as a thunderstorm but on this occasion “It came without either wind or thunder of any violence, and by degrees in that abundance as that the earth was thoroughly…soaked therewith. Which did so apparently revive and quicken the decayed corn and other fruits, as was wonderful to see, and made the Indians astonished to behold. And afterwards the Lord sent them such seasonable showers, with interchange of fair warm weather as, through His blessing, caused a fruitful and liberal harvest… For which mercy, in time convenient, they also set apart a day of thanksgiving.”
They were applying God's Solution. In 2 Chronicles 7: 13-14, the Lord, then speaking to King Solomon, states: " When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
Special days of prayer and fasting and humiliation became an accepted part of the life of Plymouth Colony. The Pilgrims, following Isaiah 58:12, practiced the kind of prayer and fasting approved by God, and thereby “raised up the foundations of many generations.” Isaiah 58:12 states: "Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In."

May those of us today, the repentance remnant, take courage from the lessons of the Pilgrims and rededicate this nation to God this very day, Thursday, November 23, 2003. Please join me in praying this simple prayer today, and on that Day, as the Lord leads:
" Heavenly Father, in Jesus' Name, the Name above all names, we confess that we have turned away from You in the years since the Pilgrims. We repent for the idolatry, the love of money, the killing of innocents, the sexual perversions, the failure to stand with Israel, and our failing to abide by our Covenant with You, sealed with the blood of our ancestors. We have not been the "city on a hill" seen by our forefathers. We have not placed You and Your Liberty first in our national life today. Divisions rip apart this nation.
We pray you will hear our voice as we humbly turn to You, the Author and the Finisher of our faith, in humility, in prayer, seeking Your face, reverencing You this Thanksgiving. We now turn, believer by believer, from every way in which we have not followed Your Way given us by Jesus/Yeshua and Your holy Word. We now by this prayer declare again our total dependence on You, Almighty God. Please repair the Breach, reestablish our Godly roots; help us follow once again Your Word in Isaiah 58:12, to restore and to raise up the Godly foundations of many generations.
We pray this in Yeshua/Jesus' Holy Name, Amen and Amen."

In the shaking that He promised [Hebrews 12:26-29] do you see that His Gift of repentance needs, all the more, from this time forward, to spread to all persons, everywhere? Doesn't it need to spread to all persons who don't yet know Him, and to a lukewarm "church," filled with many who have not ever even repented? How can we begin to "perfect holiness in the fear of God" (2 Corinthians 7:1) if there is no preaching of repentance?
NDR exists, without church or denomination support, to encourage His Gift of repentance to pastors, priests, worship leaders, all believers, in nations everywhere. We are now planning additional zoom meetings, including to Israel, to support them in this time of physical and spiritual warfare.
Do make the zoom calls work, linking believers globally, we need a new computer. Our volunteer, Susan Hammer, in South Africa, is using an old one. A new one will cost about $1,100. Will you please pray to see if the Lord would have you donate to this basic need for us to continue to share His Gift of Repentance everywhere?
God bless you,
