Happy September!  Many of you have received your 2023 calendars, and we hope that you love our 17th edition! Pictured above is 10-year Army Veteran, Claudia, who is featured as "Miss March".

From Claudia: "The most memorable moment was while I deployed to Iraq in 2004/2005. Not only did I work as a Finance Specialist, but I drove the most convoy miles within my detachment. One convoy in particular stood out the most because an IED was set off on the road we were driving in. The humvee in front of me got some shrapnel, but luckily no one was seriously hurt. It was one of the scariest days of my life. From that day on, I felt like I appreciated my life just a bit more. 

Becoming a part of Pin-Ups For Vets is special to me because it’s such an amazing organization. Giving back to the Veteran community is something I always wanted to contribute to."
