Make the Most of Your Library...Your Reading History
If you use your library long enough and often enough, it's bound to happen eventually: you find a great book on the shelf, check it out and take it home...only to discover that you have already read it!

While it's often great to re-read an old favorite, it's also nice to be able to see what books you have already checked out.

Did you know you CAN? It's called your "Reading History," and you can turn it on by signing into the My Account page on our website. Click on the Contact Information and Preferences tab, then just scroll down and check the box marked "Maintain reading history." You'll then be able to see a list of all the items you check out from that point onward, just by signing into your account.

There are a few things to remember: Because the library wants to protect your privacy, you do have to "opt in" for this service by signing in and checking the box. By default, we leave it off. Also---and for the same reason---your reading history will begin from the time you turn it on . Finally, you can turn off your reading history at any time, just by un-checking the box in your account..
