What to Celebrate This Month...

Celebrate National Native American Heritage Month at Your Library!

Every November, we proudly recognize National Native American Heritage Month. This is a time to honor the rich histories, diverse cultures, and important contributions of Indigenous peoples across the United States. This month invites all of us to learn more about the traditions, stories, and voices of Native American communities, past and present.

The Pinal County Library District is excited to support this celebration by providing access to a wide range of materials that highlight Native American perspectives. Our catalog features books from incredible Native American authors such as Angeline Boulley, Louise Erdrich, Danica Nava, and many more. From captivating fiction and powerful memoirs to insightful nonfiction and beautifully illustrated children’s books, these stories educate, elevate, and inspire.

We encourage you to explore these works and discover new voices that reflect Indigenous experiences across generations and regions. Whether you're interested in history, contemporary life, or cultural storytelling, there is something for every reader.

Visit your local Pinal County library or browse our catalog online to check out books that honor Indigenous heritage, this month and all year long.

Join us in celebrating Native American heritage. Read, learn, and share the stories that matter.
