Welcome Our New Team Members!

Please join us in giving a warm Pinal County welcome to Gloria Moreno, our new Library District Director! While Gloria is new to this role, she is no stranger to Pinal County. Since 2022, she has served as the Branch Manager of the San Tan Valley Library and worked for the Florence Community Library (Now Viney Jones Library) from 2012 to 2022. We are excited to have Gloria step into this new leadership role and look forward to the vision and direction she will bring to the Library District.

You may remember Gloria being featured on the county's 'Employee Spotlight' back in August 2024 for demonstrating core culture values like Commitment, Flexibility, and Teamwork!

"I consider Gloria a role model for how librarianship should be represented and appreciate her for the leadership and guidance she has been giving me behind the scenes. Congratulations Gloria! You deserve it!" ~Ms. Jasmine

We are also pleased to share that the Arizona City Community Library has welcomed a new Library Assistant, and the San Tan Valley Library has welcomed a new Page to their team.

We are grateful to all of our new colleagues for joining us in our mission to serve Pinal County communities with welcoming spaces and free access to information, resources, and programs for both education and recreation.

September is Library Card Sign Up Month!

September is Library Card Sign-Up Month!!!

This is a time to celebrate the power of libraries and encourage more people in our communities to get their very own library card.

To help make this month extra special, the Library District collaborated with the Pinal County Communications Department to create tailored photo op foam boards for each library. These boards proudly display your library’s name along with our web address, making them perfect for showcasing new cardholders.

We encourage each library and their New Library Patrons to participate by taking a quick picture with our photo op board during the month of September!

Share these photos on your library’s social media pages and patrons can share on personal pages too!

Tag Pinal County Library District in your posts so we can celebrate alongside you (social media links below)!

We can’t wait to see all of the new patrons you welcome this month.

Thank you for helping us spread the excitement—together, we’ll make this Library Card Sign-Up Month the best one yet!

ASK US

The Pinal County Library District website provides a catalog of all of our library materials. Patrons can download e-books, e-audiobooks, and access a suite of research databases.

But what if you can't find what you're looking for, or something doesn't seem to work right?

Just like at your local library, you can ask a Librarian! Just click the "Ask A Question" button in the center of the screen on our homepage and fill out the online form. Send us a description of what you need or what went wrong, and staff at Pinal County Library District will get back to you by phone or email (your choice) to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Please note that staff are only available during regular office hours, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm. Questions submitted after hours or on weekends will be answered the following business day.
