Central Links Golf
, located in our East Park, consists of the recently merged Kansas and Kansas City Golf Associations. The name Central speaks not only to the region they represent but also to how they want to be seen in the golf community- as the central golf association that provides high quality golf tournaments and member services. Links is a golf term, but the goal is to link communities and generations together through the game. The new name tells their story in a way that speaks to their mission. They serve, promote and grow the amateur golf community in Kansas City and Kansas.
The vision of the company is to be a premier regional golf association that provides unparalleled leadership for the education, growth, and promotion of amateur golf. With a rich history from their past as the Kansas Golf Association, Kansas Women’s Golf Association, and Kansas City Golf Association, they have come together to better serve the golf community in the region. Central Links staff arrange golf tournaments for golfers of all skill levels, ages, and genders across Kansas City and Kansas in addition to administering handicapping services through the World Handicap System, as well as providing Course Rating services to member clubs.
They are volunteer-based and governed as a non-profit 501 (c)(4) Missouri corporation. The team spends most of the summer on the golf course working with golfers and are all very passionate about growing the game of golf in Kansas City and Kansas!
