Gold Ribbon School
Congratulations to the Pine Valley teachers, staff, students and parents on the Gold Ribbon School Recognition from the California Department of Education!
We Need Site Council Parents
Besides PTA and the PVEF, there is another important group on campus that is involved in helping to focus Pine Valley's instructional program as we support ALL students in reaching grade level standards. That group is called School Site Council (SSC).

SSC meets the last Tuesday each month from 3-4 pm to discuss these programs and allocates resources as part of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). SSC is made up of the principal, school staff, students, and parents.

As a parent representative, if you are interested in serving on this group and can make these meetings, please contact Pine Valley office manager, Rebecca Bartolone at 925.479.7710.  She can provide additional details and take the names of people interested.  Mr. Law will review and will contact parents to get representation from all grade levels.

Our first meeting is September 27.
The 33rd Annual Run for Education -  Sunday, October 16, 2016

Email Distribution List
A Note About Our Email Distribution List...

The email list that this newsletter sends to was updated recently to include all parent emails that agreed to release their information for school communications in the Annual Update as well as all site staff.  Everyone in this update was also added to the distribution list for the San Ramon Valley Council of PTAs.

If at any time, you would like to change the lists you receive communications from or the email address they are sent to, please use the Update Profile link that is in the footer of any the emails we send you.  This link is unique to YOUR email address.  If you wish to leave one list but not another, use the Update Profile link to make the change because the unsubscribe link removes you from ALL lists and requires more effort on your part to fix.
