Greetings TISOH family,

Hot weather is arriving any day now, and that means it is time for TISOH’s summer semester! This summer is a special one, as we are welcoming everyone—students, alumni, faculty, industry colleagues—back to campus for in-person classes, workshops, and events that all of us have missed so much.
 
We have a spectacular line-up of in-person social and academic events, with the return of our always-popular Hangouts and Special Events. We will continue to offer our web series events for all who prefer, including online students. Skills Workshops will be held in the lecture hall. The Pineapple Lounge, with your favorite video games, is open. Best of all, instructors, students, and alumni can meet again, in-person, for teaching, learning, and networking. All of us are anticipating, and excited about, opening back up on May 17th. 
 
Even as the COVID-19 restrictions relax, you will find that safety is our number one priority. Masks are required for all campus visits, including class. Social distance is established in each room, and we have placed sanitizing wipes and liquid hand sanitizer throughout the academic building. Our cleaning crews will work overtime to ensure everyone’s safety, with medical-grade cleaning scheduled for each of the classrooms and public areas multiple times each week.

TISOH Admissions and Records Administrator, Ruby Turincio, CGSP recently moved out of Las Vegas to be closer to her family in Texas.

We will remember her warmly and be grateful for her many contributions to the school. Her vivacious personality and nurturing spirit have welcomed every TISOH student for the past 9 years. Ruby will be missed greatly.
