COVID-19 Resources for Business


We have compiled and are regularly updating a web page of information about COVID-19 for Pinellas County businesses. Please visit 
www.PCED.org/covid19  to see the eligibility requirements for available loans, "Safer at Home" guidance and links to resources.

Pinellas County's "Safer at Home" Order is in effect as of 12:00 p.m. March 25, 2020. Full details for Pinellas County are available at www.PinellasCounty.org/covid19. Visit www.pced.org/covid19 for details on how this order impacts local businesses.

COVID-19 Operations at PCED: Our office is closed to the public at this time, but our staff is working remotely to assist businesses. Please visit www.PCED.org/covid19 for resources.

Loans: Please visit  www.PCED.org/covid19 to review eligibility requirements before you begin your applications.
  • Covid-19 SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans are available to businesses negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Visit https://covid19relief.sba.gov/# for more information and eligibility requirements.
  • Florida Emergency Bridge Loans are also available to business negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Interested businesses should visit http://floridasbdc.org/disaster/ebl/ to determine eligibility and apply online.
     
  • We will send an email notice to local businesses when we have more information and the path for applications for the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) and the Paycheck Protection Program. How Pinellas businesses can help: Pinellas County is collecting items needed by local healthcare facilities. Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA): Visit  https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/pandemic  for directives and responsibilities  for employers. All employers will be required to post notice of the FFCRA via this poster.

Unemployment: If you are unemployed, and in need of reemployment benefits assistance, please visit the State of Florida's Reemployment Assistance Program at:  http://www.floridajobs.org/Reemployment-Assistance-Service-Center/reemployment-assistance/claimants/apply-for-benefits to apply for benefits.
