A Message from our Principals
The Final Countdown!
May is filled with exciting milestones. Our 5th graders will soon be graduating onto middle school. State testing has come and gone, and many opportunities to learn outdoors are upon us. The Pineview Garden is finally waking up again. Prairie Ridge Intermediate School is coming alive on the east side of town.

As we’ve been reflecting about this school year, one constant has been the growth of students, both literally and figuratively. It’s exciting to think back where a child was developmentally, and to witness where they are now. Most kids are drastically more independent and have forged a routine of success that works to meet the expectations of their teachers. Students just seem to “get it” and carry themselves with more confidence this time of year.

Reflection can be a positive tool for educators and students as they enter summer break. What things went really well this year that I can continue into next year? Where did I struggle and what resources do I need to improve? How can I grow as a person over the summer break? Transition is nostalgic and difficult, but necessary. The memories formed and connections made this year will last a lifetime. It’s easy to picture all the elementary teachers who touched our hearts as kids, and this is most certainly the case for your child. We are so proud of the educational team here at Pineview and everything they accomplished this year.

Yours in education,

Mr. Beyer & Mr. Frey
