Launch of The Pinter Trust

 Hello!

We are delighted to announce the establishment of the Pinter Trust.

As I am sure you are aware, the late Rabbi Pinter z"l left an incredible legacy and his sudden passing has left a great void. He dedicated his life to many community causes including girls' education, supporting people with mental illness and child safeguarding, but he will be best remembered for his role as a community ambassador. Rabbi Pinter built many bridges between the Charedi community and other organisations and groups.

To perpetuate his memory and fill the gap that he left, the Interlink Foundation with the support of leaders from across the UK Charedi community, is setting up The Pinter Trust. The Trust will tell the story of Charedi people in the words of the community itself and will be dedicated to building awareness, dialogue and trust. The Trust will engage and respond to media enquiries and proactively seek to be part of discussions on matters relevant to the UK’s Charedi community.

We have received the strong support of all Rabbinical authorities from across the UK's Charedi community, including the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations (UOHC), Gateshead Kehilla, Federation of Synagogues, Machzikei Hadass Manchester and Manchester Beth Din, as well as various leading communal organisations.

We are Bez"H launching the Trust on 24th Jan 2022, 22nd Shevat 5782, when our website pintertrust.org.uk will be live. The Trust can be contacted via our website or directly at [email protected].  We are delighted to have appointed Mr Yoel Friedman as Director of Public Affairs as well as Rabbi Chaim Yisroel Tesler as Communications Officer.

As part of our work, we want to showcase the fantastic work of the community’s organisations and demonstrate the important contribution they make. Please do contact us if you have any stories you would like to share. Likewise, if you receive media enquiries and would prefer the Pinter Trust to engage on your behalf, please be in contact with us.

We look forward to being in touch.
