Happy Friday PRE Families,

We hope you have a great weekend!  Our school is finished with CMAS testing and we continue to work hard and learn each day!

Upcoming dates of note:

May 1: Human growth and development presentations.  Information was sent to fifth-grade 

families this week.

Mrs. French’s Class will duct-tape me to a wall!

May 3: Bike/Roll/Walk to School Day.  If human-powered transportation to school is not an 

option, students can walk a lap around the building when they arrive at school.  

May 4: After-school choir concert-6:00 pm in the gym at PRE

May 5: No school for students: professional learning day for staff.

¡Esperamos que tengas un gran fin de semana! ¡Nuestra escuela terminó con las pruebas CMAS y continuamos trabajando duro y aprendiendo cada día!

Próximas fechas de nota:

1 de mayo: Presentaciones sobre crecimiento y desarrollo humano. Se envió información a quinto grado

familias esta semana.

¡La clase de la Sra. French me pegará con cinta adhesiva a la pared!

3 de mayo: Día de ir a la escuela en bicicleta/rueda/caminar. Si el transporte a la escuela impulsado por humanos no es una

opción, los estudiantes pueden dar una vuelta alrededor del edificio cuando llegan a la escuela.

4 de mayo: Concierto extraescolar del coro-6:00 pm en el gimnasio del PRE

5 de mayo: No hay clases para los estudiantes: día de aprendizaje profesional para el personal.

This is a mandatory yearly process. 

Please register your existing student for the upcoming 23-24 school year. Please log on to your parent Portal to complete the registration. You will need to provide address verification in the form of an Xcel, United Power or town water bill, dated within the last 30 days that includes your name and address on it. No ipads will be issued until this process is completed.

You must register your student in their home boundary school.

RHS YOUTH SOCCER CAMP

It’s that time of year again where we get ready for summer programs and activities. Roosevelt Soccer is proud to announce that we will be having our annual Summer Camp this year from June 5th thru the 8th. The registration forms are below. YMCA SUMMER SPORTS

We are excited to partner with a local organization called Hunger Heroes to provide a backpack of food for families over the weekend again this year. Families do NOT need to fill out anything (other than letting us know their name so we know who to give the food to), and do NOT need to qualify to receive backpacks. These are available to ANY child in our community. They do not need to be in school. If you have a child that is not of school age yet or is doing remote learning they are still able to receive a bag. All you need to do is plan to pick up those bags from any of our schools. If you would like to help out with this program or would like to receive a backpack, please fill out the form using the link below to get started. Thank you so much for partnering with Hunger Heroes!    Click here or on the image above to sign up!

Estamos emocionados de asociarnos con una organización local llamada Hunger Heroes para proporcionar una mochila de alimentos para las familias durante el fin de semana nuevamente este año. Las familias NO necesitan completar nada (aparte de dejarnos saber su nombre para que sepamos a quién darle la comida), y NO necesitan calificar para recibir mochilas. Estos están disponibles para CUALQUIER niño en nuestra comunidad. No necesitan estar en la escuela. Si tiene un hijo que aún no está en edad escolar o está aprendiendo a distancia, aún puede recibir una bolsa. Todo lo que necesita hacer es planear recoger esas bolsas en cualquiera de nuestras escuelas. PARENT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

We love having parents in the building and are so excited that restrictions have been lifted to allow this again! If you are volunteering, please arrange with your child’s classroom teacher ahead of time, and then check in at the office with your ID card. Our fabulous office staff will print a name tag for you, which will let all our staff know that you have checked in. Thank you for helping us ensure safety for everyone at our school.

¡Nos encanta tener padres en el edificio y estamos muy emocionados de que se hayan levantado las restricciones para permitir esto nuevamente! Si es voluntario, haga arreglos con el maestro de la clase de su hijo con anticipación y luego regístrese en la oficina con su tarjeta de identificación.
