Spring is Here!
We hope you all had a chance to relax and rejuvenate over Spring Break. No matter what the weather forecaster may say, it's spring and we have a busy couple of months before the end of the school year. Please read below for April's events.

A Hearty Thank You to All Who Helped Provide a Delicious Conference Dinner!
Once again, staff at Pioneer Ridge were blown away by the generosity and cooking talents of all who donated something for the conference meal last month. It is truly appreciated by our staff! If you left a crock-pot or other serving container, please stop by the office to pick it up, or let us know if you would like us to send it home with your child.

Please continue to visit our website to keep up with news and events at Pioneer Ridge for the school year.  To get a glimpse into personalized learning at PRMS, see the social media links below.  See our news page for more detailed information.  You can also find our archived newsletters on this page.

Festival
8th Grade Field Trip to Festival of Nations
This year the entire 8th grade class will be going to the Festival of Nations at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. This trip will take place on Friday, May 4th, 2018.

Any student who did not turn in their money/permission slip by March 13th will be staying back and working to meet the learning target they are missing for Global Studies, as well as getting caught up on any missing learning targets in other courses. This is an academic day and students are expected to attend school. Tickets have been pre-ordered and refunds will not be provided.

PortalAccount
Set up Your Campus Portal Account Today
As your child progresses to secondary school, it becomes very important that the district have at least one email address on file per household, as the majority of our teacher, school and district communications are sent using this method.

Families can also change their settings in Infinite Campus to begin receiving text messages.  Click here for instructions.

It is also recommended that each parent/guardian have a Campus Portal account, allowing you access to your child's schedule, other student information and to update your contact information.  To set up an account, please contact the main office at [email protected] or call 952-556-7800.

FamilyBreaks
Family Breaks
Family breaks are times when students and families can count on no new assignments being due after a school break.  The next family break will be May 26th -28th for Memorial Day.  Our hope is that by clearly setting aside these times, families can make plans accordingly and students can enjoy time away from the stressors of schoolwork.
