Volunteer for Spring Clean 2025 on Saturday, June 7th


Join the Alliance and a host of neighborhood volunteers on Saturday, June 7th from 9a - 11:30a for our annual Spring Clean. Roll up your sleeves in this community cleanup effort to help spruce up Pioneer Square. This event is open to all ages and abilities, so feel free to invite your friends, family, and coworkers to register and volunteer! Registration ends on May 16th. If you have any questions or if would like to sign up as a group, and be placed in the same project, please email anahi@pioneersquare.org.

Event Recap: 2025 Main Street Now Conference in Philadelphia


Last month, the Alliance team traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the 2025 Main Street Now Conference to take part in three days of learning and connecting with fellow Main Street community leaders.


Hosted by Main Street America, the organization helps to build economic power in downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts. The Alliance has been a Washington Main Street Affiliate since January 2024 - along with 77 other towns and cities utilizing the nationally proven Main Street Four-Point Approach™ to revitalize their historic downtown districts. We're excited to apply the new tools and strategies we've learned to support the neighborhood this year and beyond. Click below to learn more about WA Main Street.

Introducing Susan Stoltzfus, Communications Specialist

Susan Stoltzfus joined the Alliance for Pioneer Square last month as Communications Specialist to help keep you informed. Prior to that she worked for the City of Seattle, the Port of Seattle, and several non-profit organizations. She has lived in Seattle all of her adult life and has enjoyed working and having fun in Pioneer Square. She will be helping to communicate with businesses and residents, as well as working to spread the word about all the amazing people and activities that make Pioneer Square an amazing place.

First Thursday Art Walk: May 1st, 2025

Join us this month for First Thursday Art Walk! Explore the vibrant art galleries, venues, markets, and businesses. The art walk is FREE & self-guided and parking is free from 5p - 10p at three participating garages. First Thursday Free Parking provided by Hudson Pacific Properties, Diamond Parking, and Butler Parking. This month, we're spotlighting Four Diamonds, a new family-owned restaurant in the neighborhood.


Four Diamonds offers authentic Vietnamese cuisine for brunch, lunch, or dinner, including rice plates, banh mi sandwiches, pho, and much more. They also have a selection of bubble tea and other specialty drinks that are perfect for pick-me-up any time of the day.

The Free Waterfront Shuttle Returns Friday, May 2nd


The free Waterfront Shuttle returns this Friday, May 2nd until mid-September. Supported by the Friends of Waterfront Park, Seattle Historic Waterfront Association, the Alliance for Pioneer Square and funded by King County and the City of Seattle, the Waterfront Shuttle will stop at key locations including the Seattle Center/Space Needle, Pier 69, Pier 62, Pier 56, Pioneer Square, and King Street Station in the International District.
