Ornament Scavenger Hunt

From November through December, we’re having an ornament scavenger hunt throughout Pioneer Square.

Every week, we’re hiding an ornament (or two or three!) at one of our neighborhood retailers or galleries. Each ornament is specially made by Glasshouse Studios. We’ll share clues here on our Instagram Stories to help you track them down!

Did you find an ornament? Please let the business know before you leave! The ornament is yours to keep and enjoy.

Neighborhood Spotlight: Tapas Angel

This month, we'd like to spotlight Tapas Angel, one of the newest eateries to open its doors in Pioneer Square. Known for its delicious small plates, wine selection, and warm, welcoming atmosphere, Tapas Angel prides themselves on providing an exceptional dining experience that celebrates the flavors and culture Iberian Peninsula and Pan-Latin experience.

"The Pioneer Square neighborhood was an easy decision to make," Tapas Angel owner Diego says. "We simply felt it was the neighborhood that would benefit most from the blessings fine food and wine would bring."

You can expect to see live Latin jazz and flamenco showcased at Tapas Angel soon. Stop by for lunch where you'll find the only place in Seattle offering a European-style three-course pre-fixes for $25 or less and Sangria for $6 (Tuesday - Friday, 11:30a - 3p).

Waterfront Seattle will also be completing utility work for 5G cellular connection on Alaskan Way.

Work will begin as early as mid-November on below-ground utilities for increased 5G service on the east side of Alaskan Way, south of Yesler Way. Installation of 5G poles is not a part of Waterfront Seattle improvements and will be conducted by carriers.

Carriers use their own resources to determine where small cells are needed along the waterfront, and they work directly with the City of Seattle to install them at convenient times to help minimize impacts. For more information check out Waterfront Seattle’s blog for more details.
