JUNE 2023

Welcome back to the Pioneer Valley Progress Report.

In case you missed it, we are excited to share the video and slides from our most recent regional workshop series featuring the MA Department of Environmental Protection and US Environmental Protection Agency.

We have some good updates to share on our work in Ludlow and Chesterfield, our regional effort to help keep our waterways clean, and an opportunity to connect with Attorney General Andrea Campbell and her Springfield team this summer.

Most importantly, I want to dedicate this month's Pioneer Valley Progress Report to the memory of two incredibly impactful Valley leaders who we have recently lost. While their backgrounds and paths in public service careers may have differed, there is no doubt we are living in a far better region because of Dora Robinson and Speaker David Bartley.

We will continue to keep their loved ones in our thoughts and their legacies as inspiration as we relentlessly pursue a higher quality of life for each and every one of us in Hampden and Hampshire Counties.

Below, please find just a sampling of the work we are proudly contributing to as your state-designated regional planning agency!

-Kimberly H. Robinson, Executive Director

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for last month’s grant workshop with the MA Department of Environmental Protection and US Environmental Protection Agency.
