Happy new year! Like so many of you, we are looking forward to returning to some sense of normalcy in 2021. Despite the many curveballs our industry and the nation have faced in recent months, we are optimistic about what the new year will bring.
Our team was hard at work in the fourth quarter, continuing to serve the real estate community in complex transactions including financings, joint ventures, leasings, development matters, sales, acquisitions and workouts, in addition to matters related to private equity investment funds. Notably, we completed two multi-state, multi-property portfolio transactions, which you’ll find more details on below. We could not have made it through 2020 without our attorneys’ dedication to consistently providing our clients with superior legal counsel.

In the fourth quarter, Pircher represented two multi-state industrial portfolio transactions, each comprising 17 properties. Pircher’s team assisted in the acquisition and financing of both.

Pircher partner, David Packer, participated in a virtual presentation this week hosted by the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) Real Property Section. The hour-long program, entitled “Legal Writing for Real Estate Attorneys: Confusing Abbreviations, Words & Phrases,” was hosted on Jan. 12, 2021 and highlighted common writing elements that tend to challenge real estate lawyers and other professionals.
