Pitaya Entertainment, one of the leading global Spanish-language podcast networks, announced that it has hired renowned sales executive Alfredo Sánchez to lead its sales efforts in Mexico and Latin America.
Alfredo Sánchez has worked in digital advertising and marketing for nearly 20 years and has specialized in podcast advertising in Mexico since 2021. He previously worked at Acast, where he sold some of the first podcast ad campaigns in Mexico, and was Sales Director for Latin America at Gracenote, a Nielsen company dedicated to music, video, and sports metadata. He was also Digital Commercial Director at Televisa, Country Manager at Sizmek, and Account and Commercial Director at Yahoo! Mexico for over a decade. Alfredo was also the first Mexican to obtain a Digital Media Sales Certificate from the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau).
