Together with DAAD, the German Center for Research and Innovation (GCRI) New York will host the Falling Walls Lab, a global forum for innovators to pitch their research and business ideas on September 14, 2017. Entrepreneurs, innovators, and researchers will present their ground-breaking projects in three-minute pitches. Apply now!

DAAD-AICGS Research Fellowship Program

The AICGS is the leading resource and research center for the study of the German-American relationship in an evolving Europe and changing world. The program is designed to bring scholars and specialists working on Germany, Europe, and/or transatlantic relations to AICGS, which is located in Washington, DC, for stays of two months each.

Meet Carol Anne Costabile-Heming

Carol is one of our dedicated DAAD Research Ambassadors and a professor of German at the University of North Texas, Denton. Her research focuses on German literature and culture, as well as German film and memory studies. We asked Carol a few questions about her work and experience in Germany.

Is there an age limit?

There is no fixed age limit for DAAD Scholarships. However, some scholarship programs specify that only a certain amount of time should have elapsed since you received your last degree. For details, please refer to the respective scholarship description.
