Vintage Snowmobile Races 

 Hello everyone and Happy New Year!
As many of you know by now a good part of our trail system was impacted by the ice storm. The groomer operators have been out since trying to clear the trails so they were passable. This has proven to be a daunting task. We have found that in areas just a matter of days after clearing things up so snowmobiles can at least get through, the trees continue to sag into the trail and it becomes almost impassable again. The operators are doing a great job but are very tired. Yesterday it was a bit on the cold side so they all went out to groom primarily instead of cutting so we hope to get the trails in a little better shape than they have been. Thanks for all the positive comments about the trails we do appreciate them and it shows you all realize what needs to be done before we can get Pittsburg back to normal. The wide open logging roads are in very good condition. We are still working on some of the main woods trails which are in good shape for snowmobiles but not very good for the taller groomers. The last trails to be done will be the trail to Canada and the trail to Maine and to Boundary Pond as these were hit bad.
We have had some groomer damage already as a result of the trees and brush, these costs added to the long hours of tree cutting and brushing are beginning to add up so please if you can spare some time while you are here we would appreciate it, we want to get the trail system back into shape as much as you do.
