Review of our closure and cancellation policies:

Pittsfield Township generally follows Washtenaw Co. closures for weather events. We don't follow a particular school district. When we are notified from the Supervisor's office, we will send an email to the rosters for the affected classes as soon as possible. You can also call our weather hotline at 734-822-3160 or check the recreation online calendar. We also follow this process when an instructor needs to cancel a class.

Also, this is an election year, so we will have several additional days where we are unable to host classes. You can click on 'My Activities' to see all your Upcoming Events.

Our calendar can be found at recreation.pittsfield-mi.gov then click CALENDAR.

Just in time for Spring! Put some spring in your step by learning exercises that will improve your balance and your gait. Feet, knees, hips, back, shoulders, neck, head, breathing...everything plays a role in walking and we'll touch on all of it in this series. You need to be able to get down to the ground and lay comfortably on your back and side and then be able to get up again to participate in this series. You will not need to get up and down multiple times in class - just once. Chairs can be placed to assist you in getting up and down. Some classes will not involve being on the ground but instead involve sitting in a chair or standing. The exercises are based on the Feldenkrais Method and the instructor is a full-time Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner.

Basic watercolor set is fine for those who prefer to paint.
