In Tune

The Holiday season is approaching, and Americans are feeling stressed. It's time to get In Tune with the stressors in our lives and begin establishing good stress management habits. Join this 6-week program to kick those stressors to the curb!

  • Dates: November 13th - December 24th

  • As a participant you will receive a packet of recording sheets and stress management strategies to help with stress in your life.

  • Return completed packet to Hope by the end of the program for a chance to win a prize- There will be 3 winners!

  • Limited packets available (30). Please come to the Fitness Center to claim yours/ sign up. First come, first serve 🙂


Advantage Awareness

November is American Diabetes Month. 37.3 million people have diabetes (11.3% of the US population). Plus, an additional 96 million people aged 18 years+ have prediabetes (38.0% of the adult US population). You can prevent or delay type 2 diabetes with proven, achievable lifestyle changes:

  • Reduce your total carb intake & avoid overeating

  • Seek out whole fruits and vegetables

  • Avoid processed foods and snacks

  • Increase physical activity, ideally 30 minutes five days a week

  • Drink water instead of juice or soda

  • Lose excess weight (aim for 7% of body weight)

  • Quit smoking

  • Optimize Vitamin D - helps stabilize blood sugar
