New York, NY March 30th – Pivotal is pleased to announce the selection of Chadwick Roberson as the firm’s President. Roberson will lead the day-to-day operations of the groundbreaking OCIO firm in addition to managing client portfolios.
Chadwick began his professional career at J.P. Morgan, working with wealthy families in the Private Bank division before transitioning to the Sales & Trading division where he helped institutional clients with their foreign currency and interest-rate exposure. Chadwick later moved to The New York Life Insurance Company, focusing on financial planning and investment management for wealthy families before joining the team at Momentum Advisors where he met Pivotal Advisors’ CEO and CIO, Tiffany McGhee. As Vice President of Investment Management and Research at Momentum, Chadwick collaborated with the investment committee around portfolio construction, asset allocation, and manager due diligence across all client segments. Chadwick also worked closely with Tiffany McGhee and was an essential contributor to the development and expansion of the companies Institutional Client Services Practice.
A native of Dallas, TX, Chadwick received his bachelor’s degree in Finance & Economics from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA. and, throughout his career, Chadwick’s expertise and work ethic has been impossible to ignore, earning him countless accolades including The Network Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40” and NV Magazine’s “Movers & Shakers” Award. Chadwick is an Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor with over a decade of financial services experience.
A devoted husband and proud father of two young sons, Chadwick is committed to making time to serve his community through his membership in the Wall Street Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc and with the Urban League where he served as Treasurer for the National Urban League Young Professionals and held the same office for the New York Urban League’s Board of Directors.
