Two major announcements were made this week regarding Williston Square. Williston Square is the 800 acres formerly known as the Sloulin Field Redevelopment. The first announcement was the completion of the 16th Avenue West extension while the second was the coming of two new restaurants to Williston Square. Pizza Ranch, Slim Chickens to open in Williston
Williston Economic Development News Release - Two popular restaurants announced they are coming to Williston at a press conference on Wednesday, October 14. Williston entrepreneur Pat Murphy said Slim Chickens and Pizza Ranch will be breaking ground at the new Williston Square in 2021. Murphy, a longtime Williston businessman, helped attract the two restaurants to the Sloulin Field Redevelopment. “I’ve kind of acted as a liaison between the City and a couple of restauranteurs that I am personally and professionally involved with,” said Murphy. “I was excited about the redevelopment project at Sloulin Field and I saw an opportunity for these restauranteurs, and I saw an opening in our community for expansion and I’m excited to help bring this growth to Williston.” Read More Williston Herald: Two New Restaurants to break ground in Spring
City of Williston celebrates Grand Opening of 16th Avenue West Extension
Williston Economic Development News Release - The City of Williston celebrated the grand opening of the 16th Avenue West extension on Wednesday, October 14. A public ceremony was held featuring City of Williston Mayor, Howard Klug. “This project is going to get people from south to north and north to south,” said Klug. “16th Avenue West will take people from 26th Street out to 42nd (Street)." Klug added that the 42nd Street West extension will be paved yet this year. Read More
XWA Xtra Newsletter releases 1st Anniversary Edition
XWA Xtra Newsletter - What a year it’s been. It seems impossible that the events of the past year fit within a 366 day window. Williston Works Podcast highlights XWA's First Year of Operations

The guest on the podcast is Anthony Dudas, Williston Airport Director. He answers questions about XWA's first year of operation. Creedence Energy Services celebrates Grand Opening of Analytical Lab
Williston Economic Development - The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Creedence Energy Services' new Analytical Lab on Wednesday, October 14. Ribbon Cutting held at 3E Pastry Cafe in Downtown Williston
Williston Economic Development - The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for a new restaurant in Downtown Williston on Friday, October 9. 3E Pastry Cafe recently opened its doors at 14 2nd Street West. The cafe is open from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. They offer a variety of Turkish sweets, pastries and food. Check them out!
ASB&T adds Two New Trust Officers
ASB&T News Release - American State Bank & Trust Company of Williston Trust Department recently added two Trust Officers to its team, Katelynn Lesmann and Denise Hays-Johnson.
