Plan Ahead for these 2017 Special Events
This summer at Lakeside will be an exciting one, filled with Preachers of the Week with powerful messages, chart-topping performers taking center stage and experts presenting new ideas. As always, this is all available with the purchase of a Chautauqua Pass.
 
We've also planned special events this year that require advance registration and payment. So, plan ahead, and enjoy these events with your Lakeside friends and family.
Join the Lakeside Wooden Boat Society (LWBS) for a swashbuckling celebration in your finest pirate attire. Tickets are available online for $75 per person or $150 per couple. This is a fundraising event with proceeds supporting the Lakeside Wooden Boat Society.
Spend an evening making new friends at the Lakeside Summer Dinner Dance. While enjoying a sip of summer and delicious dinner, dance the night away to the music of a live band. Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased online. Space is limited, so don't wait to purchase your ticket. This is a fundraising event with proceeds supporting Lakeside's Chautauqua program.
Lakeside's first Prayer Breakfast is in memory of Jim Kettlewell, a long-time Lakesider who devoted his time to Lakeside's spiritual life.This moving event will feature gold-medal Olympian and NBA All-Star Jerry Lucas speaking on his journey of faith. Limited tickets are available for $20 per person. As of today, there are 158 tickets still available. In addition to the Prayer Breakfast, Jerry Lucas will speak on his athletic journey as a basketball player at a luncheon with Lakesiders. This special event is $25 per person with limited seating. As of today, there are 29 tickets still available. Lakesiders will come together to enjoy a delicious dinner along the lakefront with farm-fresh ingredients. The cost of the dinner is $40 per person. The Farm to Table Dinner is not a fundraising event this year, but a wonderful way to get together with long-time friends as well as meet new ones. The Lakeside Candlelight Symphony Showcase will take Lakesiders on a candlelit musical tour to raise funds for the Lakeside Symphony Orchestra (LSO). Ticket holders will enjoy a unique evening and several small symphonic ensembles at different Lakeside homes. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased online.
