• Jackson River Café, a new breakfast and lunch spot from the owners of local favorite Les Cochons D’Or, has opened on Main Street in Hot Springs.

• Sam Snead Tavern in Hot Springs will be re-opening under new ownership in the spring of 2022.

• Menus at Bath County’s restaurants change periodically to introduce new chef creations and to feature seasonal farm-to-table options.

• Fort Lewis Lodge has added new accommodation options. The Cottages at Fort Lewis will be available for booking in May.

• A major renovation at The Omni Homestead Resort was announced last fall. Work is currently underway. The resort will be open during the renovation with the same level of service and hospitality that guests have enjoyed for 250 years.

• Restoration work is continuing on the Warm Springs Pools (formerly known as the Jefferson Pools). A re-opening is expected in early 2023.

• Three new Historical Highway Markers were unveiled in Warm Springs and West Warm Springs. The markers are an excellent addition to the Warm Springs and West Warm Springs Historic District, which has a self-guided tour showcasing historic sites and architectural highlights around the village.

It’s not surprising that the So Fly Fest was voted a Best of the Blue Ridge event. The three-day festival includes fun events like a casting clinic, guided and self-guided fishing opportunities, food and beverage events, and much more. The So Fly Fest takes place May 6 – 8, 2022. Make reservations early for this popular event.
