NEW IBERIA, La. ---Jefferson Island Rip Van Winkle Gardens is opening its doors and inviting you for a special night time evening of dining at Café Jefferson for Valentine's Day on Feb. 14, 2019.
Bring your special guest to enjoy fine dining
under the stars by Lake Peigneur such as Seafood Heaven, Crawfish Etouffeé, Crabmeat Au Gratin, Eggplant Michelle and many more. Seating will be 5:30 – 7 p.m. and 7:30 – 9 p.m.
The glassed – in porch, nestled in a grove of 350 year-old live oaks, offers a breath-taking view of the gardens and Lake Peigneur. To work up your appetite, you can come early and take a stroll through semi-tropical gardens nestled among ancient live oak trees.
Café Jefferson is usually only open for lunch from 11 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. on weekdays and until 3 p.m. on weekends.
