The Week of January 17th, 2022
Plan ahead. Whoever first thought of this was a genius.
It never loses its importance.
Feather Your Nest Adopts A Cop
Kris, Feather Your Nest Quilt Shop, clearly is happy to support Officer Victor. Her picture was taken right before she put the officer sign in her store window like Burns Feed Store has done. The window signs are encouraging not only our police officers and their families but the entire community as well. Still time to be part of the month long event.
Gresham Business Excellence Awards fro.m the Gresham Area Chamber of Commerce
The Business Excellence Awards is just around the corner. Stealing the award is not necessary. Nic, TSP Technology, Inc., is having fun pretending. Nominate a fellow business or yourself for one of the many categories. This is the largest business celebration in east county. On March 23, Thursday, all of the winners will be announced at the luncheon. Click below to nominate a worthy recipient.
Wells Fargo Bank - East Gresham is glad to participate in the Adopt-A-Cop program. This year we added a new opportunity…a massage chair drive.  Thanks to generous donors, two massage chairs are on their way to the police department. But the room needs some help. If you still want to contribute to the Massage Chair Drive, funds donated to the Chamber Foundation 501c3 account will buy items such as paint, sound system, carpet, wallpaper, etc.  Click below to upgrade the room used for respite.

After a wildfire, the wellness resort is getting back on its feet and restoring its surrounding nature.
In the northern reaches of the Willamette National Forest, Breitenbush Hot Springs has attracted visitors for generations with its wellness retreats and mineral-rich geothermal springs. All of this came to an abrupt halt in September of 2020, when one of the most destructive wildfires in Oregon’s state history, the Lionshead Fire, destroyed much of the retreat. With a lot of hard work and community support, however, Breitenbush is reemerging — with a few exciting changes.
