Art classes at the Hoboken Library in June will be bursting with excitement and color as we celebrate the great contributions of Caribbean Americans to the world of visual art. During
Caribbean American History Month we will look at and be inspired by many talented Caribbean artists’ work.
Our first artist this month will be Hulda Guzmán. Guzman is a figurative painter whose work focuses on narrative and space. She uses unusual materials to create her images and these non-traditional materials will stimulate much conversation! We will then revisit figurative drawing and painting after studying her work. Each student will create a gestural drawing of a figure in motion.
This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube.

Think You Can Build a Computer? You Can.
Step inside a PC and see how it really works.
In this workshop, you'll assemble a working computer from scratch, learn what each part does, and practice real troubleshooting skills used by IT pros. You'll even take home your own iFixit repair toolkit.
Open to ages 11+. All ages are welcome to register, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
This class will run weekly until June 28th.
