Congratulations to Firas Janabi for being the inaugural recipient of the Clyde N. Baker, Jr. Foundation Engineering Scholarship. A Ph.D. candidate in geotechnical engineering at Purdue University, Janabi received a $5,000 scholarship award.
The Trust, through the DFI WiDF Committee, will be awarding five grants of $1,750 each to women involved in design or construction of deep foundations to attend DFI’s 47th Annual Conference on Deep Foundations in National Harbor, Maryland, October 4-7. The grant defrays travel and related expenses for attending the conference. In addition, the recipients receive free conference registration.
The Trust, through the DFI WiDF Committee Fund, will be awarding five professional development grants of $1,750 each to women involved in design or construction of deep foundations to attend DFI47. The grant defrays travel and related expenses for attending the conference. In addition, the recipients receive free conference registration and are recognized during the WiDF Committee’s Networking Reception and the Awards Banquet.
