  • Car & Bike show hosted by Phoenix Lodge #13 in Ypsilanti from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Dash plaques to first 50 registered. Enjoy music, raffles, a cornhole tournament and more! CLICK HERE for more information.

Saturday, September 17th

  • The Eternal Knights Masonic Riders and American Legion Post 426 are hosting their 4th annual car & bike show at the American Legion building in Trenton from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 p.m. Contact Architect-University Lodge #569 Secretary Darrell Gray for more information at [email protected].

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Moslem Shrine will be holding the Shrine circus in conjunction with the Michigan State Fair Labor Day weekend at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. The Shrine is looking for any local lodge members that could volunteer at a joint Shrine/Blue Lodge membership table, providing information to the public about the fraternity and how to join. Time slots needed are 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on September 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on September 5th. Save the date of October 15th! All Degree Days will be held at Delta Lodge #195 in Escabana, Owosso Lodge #81 and Hiram-Findlater Lodge #110 in Flat Rock. A tentative schedule is:

8:30 a.m. – Lodge open

9:00 a.m. – EA Degree

11:00 a.m. – Fellowcraft Degree

1:00 p.m. – Lunch

2:00 p.m. – Master Mason Degree

GEORGE WASHINGTON MASONIC NATIONAL MEMORIAL EVENTS

November 4th - 6th, 2022 

  • SCOTTISH FREEMASONRY IN AMERICA SYMPOSIUM – The GWMN Memorial Association and the Royal Order of Scotland will hold a weekend of activities, exploring and celebrating Scottish Freemasonry in American Freemasonry. The symposium will present several outstanding speakers from the U.S. and Scotland, Scottish food and drink, a golf event and much more! February 20th, 2023

  • GEORGE WASHINGTON MASONIC MEMORIAL CORNERSTONE RE-ENACTMENT Come to Alexandria, Virginia for an historic re-enactment of the George Washington Masonic Memorial’s cornerstone laying to celebrate the 100th anniversary of that event.   • Come out to Heritage Park in Taylor as the Michigan Masons and Golden Ark #595 will be recognized before the 5:00 p.m. Junior World Series game between Australia and Curacao. Grand Master Leonard Davis will be throwing out the first pitch!
  • Spaghetti dinner at Roseville Temple from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. $15 all you can eat. This is a fundraiser hosted by Composite Lodge #499 for a brother in need.

Tuesday, August 16th

  • Blood drive at Golden Ark #595 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please make an appointment to give at redcrossblood.org, use ZIP 48180 to search.

Friday, August 19th

  • Star of the Lake #158 will host a veterans service as part of South Haven’s “Salute to Veterans & First Responders” weekend. Service begins at 6:00 p.m. and is open to the public. CLICK HERE for more information. 
  • Swiss steak dinner at Alcona #292 in Lincoln, serving from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. $12.

  • Au Sable Lodge #243 will host a rib cookoff and cornhole tournaments at Oscoda’s Furtaw Park. Schedule will be: 11:00 a.m. – Cornhole tournament. $25/team, blind draw for teams. 1:00 p.m. – Cornhole tournament. $50/team. 3:00 p.m. – Rib cookoff (Masons-only entries). $50 to enter, $15/plate for the public to eat & vote. Saturday, September 24th

  • Coloma Lodge #162 will host a day of education, highlighted by Bro. John Nagy presenting the Building Better Builders workshop. This is a great presentation for mentors, study groups, education officers and all members who would like to improve their fraternal experience! The workshop will be followed by a Rusty Nail Degree for all who could use a refresher on all things related to lodge & ritual. Attendance is limited to 75 so reserve your spot soon!
