Tips For Success

This week we’re sharing tips for success from Crystal Valerie, a social studies teacher at Wanaque School. She has sponsored and run the Wanaque Walks for Autism event for several years.

  • Rely on a collaborative team
  • Involve as many school community stakeholders as possible
  • Make it a fun experience!

“The key to a successful event is a great team and planning,” Crystal says. “Each year enabled us to envision a better walk the next year because teachers and students alike collaborated to identify what went well and what could be improved.”
