In a unanimous vote Thursday, August 11, the Planning Commission approved the Development Plan for the Police Station project.

This is the main land use approval for the project, which is appealable to City Council. The next step in the process is design review.

“This is a very exciting time for the City, for the Design Team, and most importantly for the Police Department. After four years we are one step closer to moving the Police Department into a new facility,” said Public Works Principal Project Manager, Brad Hess.

The project is expected to begin construction in 2024 with a completion date in 2026.
