NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the Chartered City of Vista, California, will hold a public hearing in the Vista Civic Center Council Chambers, 200 Civic Center Drive, Vista, on February 7, 2023, at 6:00 PM, to receive and consider all evidence and reports presented at said hearing and/or obtained previously relative to the following matters:

The project applicant, Viking Industries, LLC, is requesting approval of a Tentative Subdivision Map to subdivide two existing parcels totaling approximately 2.37 acres into a 9-lot single family residential subdivision located at 1790 Knapp Drive (APNs 159-161-20 & 21). This project is covered by Negative Declaration No. PC2-106 that was prepared for a 9-lot subdivision on the subject site and previously approved by the Planning Commission on September 1, 2009.
The project applicant, Robert Simon, is requesting approval of a Tentative Subdivision Map to subdivide one existing 1.46-acre parcel into six single-family residential lots (minimum lot size 10,000 square feet) and one detention basin lot with associated improvements on a vacant site located north of the termini of Earth Drive and Galaxy Drive, and west of the terminus of Bluegrass Road (APN 162-221-63-00). The project is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) in accordance with Section 15332 – In-Fill Development Projects.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the Chartered City of Vista, California, will hold a public meeting in the Vista Civic Center Council Chambers, 200 Civic Center Drive, Vista, on February 7, 2023, at 6:00 PM, to review the following Early Design Review item:
Early Design Review of a preliminary proposal to develop a mixed-use project consisting of 40 condominium units, inclusive of three very low-income units, and three ground floor commercial units, on a .74-acre site located at the intersection of S. Santa Fe Avenue and Terrace Drive, addressed as 546 S. Santa Fe Avenue (APNs 179-040-28, 29, 30, 31 & 50). The project proposes one mixed-use building with both covered and uncovered parking facilities, private and common recreation areas, landscaping, and associated site improvements.
