Envision Oak Point Goes Before City Council on July 23
Changes directed by City Council during the regular June 12 meeting were updated in the Envision Oak Point community vision ( available online). It now moves forward to Plano City Council on Monday, July 23, 7 p.m., at Plano Municipal Center.

Changes were made to pages 14, 26, 37, 87 and 138-144 to clarify:
  • Envision Oak Point does not change zoning or land use.
  • Numbers in the community vision are predictions and approximations and will likely change over time as the marketplace shifts. Ultimately, the marketplace determines how quickly or slowly redevelopment occurs, and what future developments might include.
  • Economic incentives are optional tools, not promised nor guaranteed, and only considered on a case-by-case basis for appropriate projects.
Review the July 2018 Envision Oak Point revisions at envisionoakpoint.com.   If you cannot make the meeting, watch it on Facebook Live or  planotv.org.
