PLANO FAMILY YMCA
Donor Impact News
THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT WITH YOUR SUPPORT!
The Plano Family YMCA was excited to participate in the SCHEELS Celebrates NTX Giving Day Event in partnership with the Communities Foundation of Texas. This was a great opportunity to connect the YMCA with new potential members, donors, and have a fun night in our community.

SCHEELS surprised us with a $1,000 donation for being a great partner and for helping make the event a success. We are so thankful to Energy Transfer and the Communities Foundation of Texas for awarding us the $5,000 Powering Our Youth Prize! We appreciate all of our donors who have supported us this year and on #NTXGivingDay!

We are proud of the work the Y does to create stronger kids, stronger adults, and a stronger community!
MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
Meet Leeju and Jeff Wu. They started taking group exercise classes 3 years ago and are now taking up to 15 classes a week.

They have seen improvement with their strength, endurance, balance and flexibility and Jeff is no longer taking medicine for type 2 diabetes and high cholesterol. They are able to enjoy an active lifestyle in their late 60's with ski trips, alpine mountain climbing and hiking.

Leeju and Jeff encourage everyone to take advantage of the variety of group exercise classes offered at the Plano Family YMCA!
