Regarding God's Creation
Gen 7:19  The water prevailed more and more upon the earth, so that all the high mountains everywhere under the heavens were covered. ... 8:4  In the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat. 5 The water decreased steadily until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains became visible.   - NASU      (Bold emphasis added.)

GHCA Plans for September and Beyond

My apologies to those who had trouble getting into the last webinar. The webinar link in the reminder newsletter did not work. Ironically, the test mailing I sent myself did work properly so I am at a loss of how the link in the reminder newsletter got corrupted. I have been putting a link in on the EVENTS page of the GHCA website, www.GHCAonline.com and that did work and allowed many people to get in. Be aware that there will be a link available in each newsletter, in the reminder,  and on the Events page of the website. Also, another work around is to send me an email at creationnews@comcast.net requesting the link and I will send the link in reply.

For the near future I will concentrate on bringing our archaeology study to a close by developing a carefully written article and video for our website. That will provide  effective overview of the subject including the important details. I will cancel the September webinar and devote that time toward development of a high quality article, video, and presentation to be available on demand. In a future webinar I will present a brief version of the overall presentation.

So, there will not be a September presentation or webinar.
Please watch our newsletter for future dates and plans.

At some point in the future we all look forward to the warm personal contact and fellowship we have at in-person meetings. On the other hand, some are reluctant to be exposed to group settings until the high level authorities give official clearance. For now and the foreseeable future Houston's First Baptist is requiring organizations meeting in their facilities wear face-masks and practice social distancing while there. So I would like to take a survey of the our readers' opinion on this. Please click CreationNews to open an email to tell me which you would like the most:
  1. Resume meetings with facemasks and social distancing as soon as possible.
  2. Continue with webinar only presentation until we can meet in a normal fashion.
Feel free to include any other comment you would like to share with me. I will look forward to your response.

Another thing I need is help in developing an up to date mail list to occasionally reach out beyond our readership to people and organization that should be interested in what we are doing. If you can help with the research and documentation involved please let me know. Also if you know something about available lists for various kinds of Christian organizations please let me know about that also.

Please give me an email response at CreationNews .

Blessings,
Frank Mayo

Examples of Important YEC Scientific Evidences

Some major examples of physical evidence we point to include:
  • Remains of original soft tissue still found in dinosaur bones. Along with that tissue is C-14 that would decay completely away in less than a hundred thousand years, a tiny fraction of the dinosaur fossil's supposed age.
  • For many years geologists have found C-14 in fossil carbon throughout the fossil record. So, the entire fossil record is less than 100,000 years old.
  • The origin of the information and molecular machinery in the first living self-reproducing cell remains a complete enigma for biologist and biochemists.
  • In the origin of the universe, big bang theory is being recognized as a dead end by increasing numbers of secular scientists. The hypothesized inflation has nothing to start it, drive it forward, or stop it. Without inflation fatal flaws appear with the absence of predicted antimatter, magnetic monopoles, or any means for the whole universe to come to the same precise background temperature. Then the formation of the first stars is as enigmatic as the origin of the first biological cell. Dark matter and dark energy are as enigmatic as the galactic motions they are needed to explain.
At the root of all standard science are many assumptions that may be quite incorrect. At the top is that there is no God. Another is that present process can be used to explain everything in the past. When we look at a canyon we are taught to assume the river at the bottom cut the canyon. But perhaps tectonic events made the canyon and there is a river at the bottom because water always flows downhill. At the root of big bang theory is a pure assumption that has been named the "Cosmological Principle". Perhaps inaccuracies there are responsible for the big bang's multitude of problems.

There is more about the role of assumptions in science found on our website here. There are many more resources on young earth and young universe evidences here.
