Seeking Spring Field Trip Educators

Join us in the Farm-to-School-to-Farm movement!

With spring around the corner, field trip season has started again and the Bounty is welcoming groups of students to the farm. Come join us in the Farm-to-School-to-Farm-movement! We are seeking people who have experience in education, or who are willing to learn, to support our Educational Farm Visit Program. We will train all volunteer educators, and you will have the opportunity to support Farm Visits with a team of Bounty staff, interns, and volunteers.

Farm visits may include concept review, hands-on activities and applications, community service and giving back, and inquiry-based learning and exploration. To find out more information about the Farm Visit program, visit our website

Contact [email protected] if you have further questions or would like to get involved.

We will also explore the fundamentals of bee-keeping, including equipment and bee resources. See a honey extraction demo and sample some local varieties.

Sign up for the workshop HERE.

WHERE: Bounty Farm, 55 Shasta Ave, Petaluma
WHEN: Saturday, April 14th, 12pm-2pm
COST: $10-20, sliding scale. Nobody turned away for lack of funds.

We are planning our workshop series for the summer - and we want to hear from you! Do you have something you'd like to share? Maybe you can navigate your way around food preservation or your neighbor knows a nourishing recipe passed down through generations. Reach out to  [email protected] or call 707-364-4866.
